Baking Cupcakes....

Yum, Yum, time to get baking me thinks... I managed to pick these up at work today, had my eye on them for a while and ummed and arred whether to get them,looking through the pages im so glad i did, all i need now is a day to get down to baking and an ever expanding waist...

While walking to Jollys to get my dog a coat for the winter, i passed the cathedral and there was all these statues placed through out the grounds, unfortunately i never had my camera with me so captured a couple of my phone so i apologies for the quality..

There's a Mouse in the House!

This little fella was seen in the kitchen making a nice little nest behind the oven, with easy access to the larder..

I got this today and iv put some cheese in it and I'm hoping the mouse takes the bait, dont worry its a humane one, so i can release him into the garden to be with his own family...

Spiders everywhere....

With the nights drawing in, i guess we shall all be doing a lot more of snuggling up next to a fire, well, if i was lucky enough to have a real fire i would, i will have to do with the central heating on, candles glowing in the fire hearth and a patchwork eiderdown across my lap. Just been in the garden to discover spiders are everywhere.. I cant get to the bottom cause they have spun their webs across the path, the birds will have to wait for their seeds and hopefully feast on the spiders!




The garden needs a good tiding up, due to me being at work, i don't seem to have the time to tidy up out there, so will wait till the weather changes and the plants die down, then i will have to get out there as i have a few spring bulbs i want to plant..







Sage has gone back to school and the shops have now started to get ready for the Christmas season, i do love Christmas but lets get Halloween out of the way first.. Must do some more sewing, iv got a few projects in mind, so I'm hoping that when i have a few days off i cant get on with a few...
