Gingerbread house and stars...
Spent my day off doing the Gingerbread house and stars, the stars are for hanging in the kitchen and the house will go into the living room.. Sage will then have fun demolishing the house after Boxing day!
Wow, hasn't the weather been cold, i came off my bike yesterday on my way to work, the roads are sheets of ice, i gave a nasty bruise on my elbow, but apart from that I'm OK.. I will be walking into work today though.. They say we have more snow on its way today and it -10 outside now...
As you can see from my last post, we lost our beloved Smudger, he became ill due to old age and we were advised to have him put to sleep, one of the hardest things i have had to do.. We now have a beautiful wooden box on the side where he belongs, with his ashes, we will eventually get his name engraved on the front and a Dog wood will planted in the garden, but not at this house, i plan to move in 2011, so we will do it then..
Well, i hope you are all ready for the big day, i just have a few bits and i plan to take Sage out to dinner on Thursday, although hes a little poorly at the moment, so im hoping all will be well by then.. Have a wonderful Yule / Christmas, and much love for the coming year....

Oh poor you, it really shakes you up falling on the ice. its minus 5 here,I think it's always colder away from the towns. I love your ginger bread house, we used to buy a kit from Ikea when Lewis was small. So you are moving? how exciting! I hope it is to a more rural area, or maybe to the outskirts of town. You can make a special little garden to honour your old boy.
Have a lovely Christmas and I hope the coming year will bring everything you wish for.
Thanks Kath, it was my first Gingerbread house, iv wanted to do one for years now.. Im hoping to find a bigger house sometime next year, would love to be in the Country, but will have to make do with the outskirts of the City for now..Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas and muchlove for the coming year.... Hugs, xxx..
