Bags, runny noses and sulking....

I'm not feeling so good today, i have a sore throat and a very running nose, I'm dosed up on Beechams but still have a heavy head.. Patch is sulking on the other sofa, seems I'm in the dog house today, bless him.. He went to the vets yesterday to have his final jabs of the year and to be chipped, the first injection was OK, but the second one made him cry out and bleed, mind you i wanted to cry for him poor little mite.. So today i get him a name tag for his coller, i put it on and hes trying to get if off, so i distract him and take the coller of while i give him his monthly dose of flea drops, well that's sent him into a right mood.... Now he wont come near me and just keeps looking at me with his sad eyes.... Bet him comes for a cuddle soon though!

Brought an amazing Cath Kidston lookalike bag from Primark today, £6, wait til you see a picture of it.. I did however buy a Cath Kidston bag from EBAY with the money i got from selling some clothes, its a new one and its a saddle bag, and iv wanted one for so long, so really it was a freebie..Will post pictures of it when its been delivered...

The weathers been amazing, while im sat here on the sofa the suns out and theres a million chores i need to be getting on with in the garden, but i just wanna chill, theres always the weekend...

Typical, i have a week off work to get on with these things and iv gotten ill, I'm due back in on Monday so hopefully the bug will have disappeared..

Stunning!

Thats the only way i can describe the weather to day... I woke to nothing but clear blue skies and decided it was time to go for a walk with my favorite babe...






And so we set off...



It may only be the start of Spring but there is colour everywhere.. I love this bush, not sure what it is...



Standing underneath this tree, which is laden with pollen the sound of the buzzing can be heard quite clearly, there was many a bee and wasp feasting after a long harsh winter..




Buds are starting to appear everywhere...






Still not a cloud in the sky, and i pointed the camera straight at the sun..




Patch was leading the way and he was loving it...




He meets a new friend and is straight away onto the car, he loves these things, me thinks hes trying to hitch a ride...

The Blackthorn has blossmed!...




Patch loves collecting sticks, he will chew them and chase them, carry them and then lose them..




Got the whole place to ourselves...




And then its home to do the garden, and thats another story...

The birds have landed..

I finally managed to find some lovely birds for my Easter tree, how cute are these and so life like, and they only cost pennies from the Past Times shop..

Happy Sunday Musings..

Wow, we have had some lovely spring like weather, but sadly as soon as it comes it is taken away.. Anyhow, it inspired me to go out and collect some branches for my Easter Tree, i know, a little early, but hey ho..

Look what i saw yesterday, the first one of the year, scared me as i went past i thought it was a big spider out of the corner of my eye!




Its a little dark and wet out there today and iv got to venture into the unknown in a while, but i will leave you with a cosy candle as the evenings are getting lighter it will only be a matter of time before this becomes a distant memory, until late Autumn that is..

200th Post...

When i began this blog it was to document my journey to getting out of the city and to find somewhere more countryside and cottagy, well, I'm still on that journey and I'm at the moment saving so that i can make that step to moving out of where i am and to somewhere less busy and more pretty, its still gonna take a while, but at least my journey has taken a another route to getting to that final destination..


Wow! This is my 200th post, and i was hoping for something spectacular to post about, but that could have been a long wait, so in the meantime, look at the goodies that the magazines have in store for us, it seems the shabby vintage cottage look is well in...Sorry the pictures are a little blurry..
