Gosh, it's been a while.....

Spring is here....

What a lovely start to spring it is too.. Heres some photos of this years Easter tree, the little chicks are a new addition this year....

Saving the Pennies....

Winters not winter this year and i dont like it..I like to get up on a frosty morning and wrap up, i dont like to get outside and find that im too hot in my scarf and hat, so please bring on a few more wintry days before spring comes and iv missed out completly... On a lighter note, i treated myself to a couple of Emma Bridgewaters mugs, i waited till there was a sale on because as you well know her stuff is e.x.p.e.n.s.iv.e!...

Iv decided that this year is going to be a year of saving the pennies, Iv been getting ahead of myself sometimes when i go food shopping and i end up spending a fortune! and so far iv saved myself at least 30 pounds a week buy just buying what i need and seeing of i could go down a brand, and its all helping towards my main goal of moving to a different house this year..Which if things go the way they are going i will finally have enougth money for a deposit in the next couple of months! Look at Patch, isnt he getting a big boy now, although because hes a mini Jack Russell he stills looks like a puppy... Iv decided that when we do move i will think about getting another small dog as company for him...

Anyhow, if your going to celebrate, have a wonderful Burns Night tonight and i will be back soon...

Once again i was lucky to see the Reindeer on Christmas Eve that came to the Quays.. Such stunning creatures, shame there was no snow this Christmas!

Finally.. I can post again!

Wow, its been a while since i lasted posted but iv had some trouble with blogger, but it seems to be all OK now...Heres a few pictures from the past few weeks...

Went to Cheltenham with Sage to do some shopping and while i was there i popped into the Cath Kidston store and brought another bag...

Couldn't resist this pretty cake stand and a cupcake sugar bowl both from Dunhum mill in Gloucester, i had popped down there to get some new bedding but came away with these instead...

Patch had his bits off the other day and seems to be recovering well, can't believe hes nearly 10 months old now...

Wanted to pop down to the docks at the weekend as the Tall ships are there but its been a lazy weekend before going back to work tomorrow..

A weeks journey...

Just had a week off work and i spent some time in the garden, enjoying the sun and doing some pruning and just general tidying up..
...





Then the rain came and so i spent a few days painting the old Welsh dresser and chair, that iv been meaning to do for a few years now and they look so much better






I'm NEVER doing a chair again, what a nightmare, next time i will spray paint a chair!...





It all looks so much cleaner and fresher, not to mention all my jugs and pots can now be seen a lot better...

Malvern Spring Show...

Was fantastic, enjoy the pictures, i will show you the goodies i brought another time...






The scent inside some of these tents were intoxicating... Bees were everywhere loving all the nectar that was in abundance..













This was amazing, and quite scary!




This horse was about the size of a small horse, amazing workmanship, i couldn't bring myself to look at the prices..





I wanted some of these blue poppies but they had sold out, Gutted!!! Mind you there was plenty of other amazing flowers to take home...




Theres more to come but i will show you those another day........

Iv been busy..

Firstly, heres my easter table, we had some family over yesterday for afternoon tea.. Lots of cakes and sandwiches..





Iv been doing a lot of paint spraying, and it all started with my bike basket....



and ended up with the bathroom laundry basket and the toilet paper holder basket..




Iv made some marmite chocolate bars for a friend and then some Brazil and mixed seed bars for family..


















Im doing my bit, but thats all im doing, im going to at work for the day...





And i'll leave you with a quiet corner of my home.................

Sage turned 15 on Thursday,15! That's gone sooooo fast...




And finally my bit of Cath Kidston arrived the other day and i love it....Will have to sell some more stuff on EBAY in order to get another bag iv got my eye on...

Bags, runny noses and sulking....

I'm not feeling so good today, i have a sore throat and a very running nose, I'm dosed up on Beechams but still have a heavy head.. Patch is sulking on the other sofa, seems I'm in the dog house today, bless him.. He went to the vets yesterday to have his final jabs of the year and to be chipped, the first injection was OK, but the second one made him cry out and bleed, mind you i wanted to cry for him poor little mite.. So today i get him a name tag for his coller, i put it on and hes trying to get if off, so i distract him and take the coller of while i give him his monthly dose of flea drops, well that's sent him into a right mood.... Now he wont come near me and just keeps looking at me with his sad eyes.... Bet him comes for a cuddle soon though!

Brought an amazing Cath Kidston lookalike bag from Primark today, £6, wait til you see a picture of it.. I did however buy a Cath Kidston bag from EBAY with the money i got from selling some clothes, its a new one and its a saddle bag, and iv wanted one for so long, so really it was a freebie..Will post pictures of it when its been delivered...

The weathers been amazing, while im sat here on the sofa the suns out and theres a million chores i need to be getting on with in the garden, but i just wanna chill, theres always the weekend...

Typical, i have a week off work to get on with these things and iv gotten ill, I'm due back in on Monday so hopefully the bug will have disappeared..

Stunning!

Thats the only way i can describe the weather to day... I woke to nothing but clear blue skies and decided it was time to go for a walk with my favorite babe...






And so we set off...



It may only be the start of Spring but there is colour everywhere.. I love this bush, not sure what it is...



Standing underneath this tree, which is laden with pollen the sound of the buzzing can be heard quite clearly, there was many a bee and wasp feasting after a long harsh winter..




Buds are starting to appear everywhere...






Still not a cloud in the sky, and i pointed the camera straight at the sun..




Patch was leading the way and he was loving it...




He meets a new friend and is straight away onto the car, he loves these things, me thinks hes trying to hitch a ride...




A few lone Daffs..






The Blackthorn has blossmed!...




Patch loves collecting sticks, he will chew them and chase them, carry them and then lose them..




Got the whole place to ourselves...




And then its home to do the garden, and thats another story...
