My first projects...

This first picture shows the living room, that's Smudger to your left.. All the pine units and the table will be getting a makeover asap, they will become Jasmine white like the TV unit...

This is where the new polka dot under the sink curtains i made are, you cant really see them that well but you get the picture..

No real reason for this part of the kitchen, i just love it..

And finally the candy striped curtains i made to hide the gas meter.. Not bad if i say so my self as a first attempt on my sewing machine.. Mind you, you cant see the wonky sewn edges.. LOL... My next project are some lampshade covers and im also making a Cath Kidson bag that i got with her book 'SEW... More pictures to follow...

Old house on the lean..

Whenever i pop to see my niece i go through Gloucester Cathedral and on my way back i always see this house and the other day i had my camera on me so i took a picture. Its a beauty and i love the way its leaning to one side. Im not sure whether its a home now or a place of work... Gloucester does have some hidden gems..

Great Aunt

Iv been trying for the last 30 minutes to show you a picture of my great niece who came into the world on July 7Th at 3.46 pm, weighing 6lb 5oz and she is stunning!Iv held her and cried and took lots of pictures, brought all the baby clothes i could find and drooled over her like a demented old women...

Woke up this morning to some rain and I'm not complaining we need some and lots of it. Summers been great so far and I'm sure its going to continue.. I made some pink and white candy stripe curtains to hide the gas and electric cupboard and they look great, not bad for a first attempt with the sewing machine, next i want to make some new under sink curtains for the kitchen...I'm also going to attempt a patchwork eiderdown for my great niece for when shes a little older..

The fairs coming to town at the weekend so I'm sure Sage will be there with his friends.. Im glad cause he seems to be addicted to his X box at the moment, and i hate him spending so much time on it, especially when the weathers so good...Better get breakfast ready and prepare for the day ahead, have a wonderful Monday y'all....
